After completing his BS in Psychology at the University of Maryland, Vipal Cohen recognized the limitations of conventional psychology and felt a special need to investigate alternative methods of personal growth and inner transformation. This exploration eventually led him, in 1984, to the Osho Commune in Oregon (USA). During his 16 month stay he experimented daily with Osho’s active meditations (Dynamic and Kundalini), participated in numerous and varied therapeutic and body oriented workshops and was trained in holistic massage, psychic massage and rebalancing.

From 1986 to 2001 he offered individual bodywork sessions in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany and the Osho Meditation Resort in Poona, India. During this time he also was trained in sports massage and St. John neuromuscular therapy.

In 2003 he began a 14 month apprenticeship in Kobido, Japanese Facial Massage, with Shogo Mochizuki, completing all six levels of Kobido training.

For the past six years he has been giving individual sessions in Colorado, Germany,  India, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Turkey.

For the past three years, in addition to individual sessions, he has offered Japanese Facial Massage Trainings in Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Russia and Spain.
